Long-term means
The maps show long-term arithmetic mean values from a historical simulation with the Arctic-HYPE v3.0.26 model for the years 1979 to 2013. The simulation uses the WFDEI dataset of historical precipitation and temperature as forcing data.
The presented variables correspond to the following model output variables in the HYPE model:
Discharge: | COUT |
Local runoff: | CRUN |
Air temperature: | CTMP |
Precipitation: | CPRC |
Precipitation as rain: | CPRF |
Precipitation as snow: | CPSF |
Potential evapotranspiration: | EPOT |
Actual evapotranspiration: | EVAP |
Snow evaporation: | EVSN |
Snow water equivalent – in fields: | C114 |
Snow water equivalent – in forest: | C214 |
Soil moisture storage in the root zone: | SMRZ |
For more information on how these variables are computed by the model see the online HYPE manual.
